Timeless Herringbone Installation in Boughton for Holland Country Homes

We recently completed two beautifully finished residential flooring installs for Holland Country Homes at a premium development in Boughton, Northamptonshire, delivering high-spec timber flooring with precise preparation and a flawless finish.

Flooring Built to Last from the Ground Up

Preparation is everything when it comes to engineered timber, and this project was no exception. Across both properties, we applied two coats of DPM (damp-proof membrane) to the subfloors, with the second coat sand blinded with quartz to create the perfect key for the wood adhesive to bond to.

Engineered Oak Herringbone with a Luxury Finish

The flooring chosen was pre-sealed Elesco Engineered Oak Herringbone in a classic 16mm x 350mm x 70mm format, laid seamlessly through the entrance space, kitchen, and dining areas of each home. In total, we installed over 200m² across the two properties.

For a crisp, high-end finish at each door threshold, we supplied and fitted solid brass trims, bringing both durability and a timeless touch to the joinery details.
