Reception Refresh for EM Rogers with Custom Forbo Marmoleum

We were recently asked to carry out a special flooring project for EM Rogers at their reception in Lodge Farm, Northampton. EM Rogers is a well-established, family-run business providing UK and European vehicle transport and storage services.

The existing linoleum floor had been in place for over 25 years. Our brief was to supply and install an updated version of the original design, including a custom inlaid company logo. To make this happen, we worked closely with Forbo Flooring Systems, who originally supplied the product.

Recreating the Original Flooring, with a Modern Touch

Using Forbo’s AquaJet cutting technology, we were able to replicate the original floor layout and recreate the EM Rogers logo in Marmoleum. The updated floor was finished in Forbo’s Marmoleum Fresco range, offering a fresh, durable and sustainable upgrade that remained true to the original design.

We began by uplifting the old floor and preparing the subfloor with primer and Stopgap 1200 latex screed. The new Marmoleum was then installed, complete with the logo inset, and the full job was completed over a single weekend to avoid any disruption to the client’s operations.

By recreating EM Rogers’ original inlaid logo with modern materials and precision technology, we helped ensure their brand identity remains front and centre the moment you step through the door.
