In September 2024, PDQ Contract Flooring was approached by Qualis Construction to undertake the full subfloor preparation works and floor finishes at Kilsby House Care Home.

What began as a survey of a derelict and almost abandoned building became a substantial phased flooring project, delivered over several months and completed in February 2026.

The flooring chosen was pre-sealed Elesco Engineered Oak Herringbone in a classic 16mm x 350mm x 70mm format, laid seamlessly through the entrance space, kitchen, and dining areas of each home. In total, we installed over 200m² across the two properties.
