As the year winds down and we take a well-earned break, it feels like the right moment to reflect on what’s been a full and rewarding 2025 here at PDQ Contract Flooring.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve delivered a wide range of flooring projects across the UK. From apartment stairwells in Manchester to offices in central London and new-build homes in Northamptonshire, it’s been a year defined by variety, attention to detail and carefully planned installs.
We’ve been trusted to refresh reception spaces that hadn’t changed in decades, lay elegant timber floors in homes designed for everyday living, and deliver practical, hard-wearing finishes in schools and commercial environments. Whether fitting engineered oak, woven vinyl, Marmoleum or carpet tiles, our focus has stayed the same, solid preparation, quality materials and a clean, considered finish.

Highlights of 2025 and looking ahead.
One of the highlights this year was recreating a bespoke logo floor in Marmoleum for a long-established business, carefully matching the original design while giving the space a modern upgrade. We also completed herringbone timber installations across new homes, bringing warmth and character through thoughtful detailing. Elsewhere, we worked to tight timeframes in education settings and upgraded high-traffic communal areas, ensuring minimal disruption and long-lasting results.
Every project has been different, but they all rely on the same foundation, trust, collaboration and a shared focus on doing the job properly.
As we look ahead to 2026, we want to say a big thank you to our team, our clients and everyone we’ve worked with this year. We’re proud of what we’ve delivered and excited for what’s to come.
