We had the opportunity to work at the new showroom for the prestigious brand - Calvin Klein - based in Knightsbridge, London. We had the task of installing 600sqm of Dinesen Douglas Fir. It was a job that came with some challenges! The wood arrived in two lorry loads of 4500 mm long boards, 450 mm wide and 35 mm thick to get from the roadside and then up to the 4th floor by means of the fire escape!

We installed the floor, sanded and filled the boards on completion and applied the lye by hand, followed by several coats of white soap. The results were truly stunning.
