Aftercare & Maintenance

With most Real Wood floors, maintenance is minimal. In fact, homeowners new to wood flooring are often surprised to find they are spending less time on care than before. The surface can be swept or vacuumed; gentle washing, waxing or polishing will maintain the good-as-new look for years to come. (Moisture and damp, however, are not ideal – although liquids can be wiped clean, Real Wood is not recommended for kitchens or bathrooms.)

PDQ Contract Flooring are always happy to give our customers advice on how best to retain the beauty and durability of their Real Wood floors. For your peace of mind, installation comes with a free maintenance guide as well as a personal consultation regarding your new floors as a permanent feature of your home. In addition, our online shop contains a range of products that, combined with the right care, can ensure your investment an exceptional lifespan.
